Acceptable Advertisements
| • | E-Spinner will accept advertisements from members, other individuals and organisations. |
| • | You can advertise anything you like provided it is not discriminatory or deemed to be offensive. |
Rates are as follows:
| • | Members: $20 + gst for up to 6 months |
| • | Non members : $40 + gst for up to 6 months; |
| • | Commercial organisations : From $40 + gst for up to 6 months, negotiable depending on the type and scale of the ad. |
| • | Set up fees : Nil for simple ads. We may charge a set up fee for complicated ads which take a long time to set up, the fee to be negotiated. |
| • | Fees will be waived for advertisements which are of general interest to club members - eg notices of events. |
Submission Formats:
PLEASE - check file sizes of any pictures and documents before sending. There's no point sending a picture of more than about 300Kb, I'll just reduce it and it will just take me a little more time to set up your ad.
A single picture plus separate text
| • | The picture should preferably be a JPEG of about 600 x 400 pixels at 72 dpi. Other formats can be processed. However, don't send TIFF, PSD & other large image files without checking with me first. |
| • | If you wish, you can supply a link to your picture on the web and I'll download it. It must be your own picture. |
| • | Text can be in the body of an email or in an attached text file, .rtf file or word .doc file |
A RTF or Word .doc file
| • | You can set these up in the way you would like the ad to look. I'll attempt to incorporate it exactly how you have set it up. |
| • | The page set up should be for A4 with a margin of around 3cm on the left and right |
| • | Pictures should be contained in tables that are not more than 18cms wide and contained in the margins |
| • | If you have text and pictures, it is preferable to put the text inside tables as well. NOTE: Web documents do not use tabs in the same way as Word. You should not use tabs in the text. |
| • | I prefer RTF files rather than .Doc files. To save as an RTF, use File/Save As and select the RTF - Rich Text Format file type. |
| • | If your document is a large file, please zip it before sending. |
An HTML file
| • | If you have the facility to create a web page, you can submit the ad as an html file |
| • | All pictures and text must be in tables not more than 18 cm. wide. |
Links to other web pages.
| • | These can be incorporated in your text wherever you like. |
