How to set your (IE) browser to turn pictures OFF

Top  Previous

If you have a slow dialup line and don't want to wait for pictures to load, you can switch off image processing as follows:

1.In the Internet Explorer menu, click on "Tools"
2.Then click on "Internet Options". This will display a window similar to that shown below.
3.Then click on the "Advanced" tab
4.Scroll down to where it shows the "Multimedia" section
5.Click on the tick box for "Show Pictures" so that it is NOT ticked.
6.Click on the "OK" Button to activate your change.

This will allow you to read the text in ESpinner without having to wait for the pictures to load.

To get image processing back, do the same but set the tick box ON (ticked).

You can do this "on the run" as you are looking at parts of ESpinner.

For example:

Switch pictures off.
Read through ESpinner.
You come to a section where you want to see the pictures.
Switch pictures on.
Go the "View" menu and do a "Refresh" to redisplay the current page including pictures. (or  use the F5 function key).
Look at the pictures.
Switch pictures off.
Go the next section..... etc.
